Safeguard Goat Dewormer for Dogs is an anti-parasitic for dogs and puppies two weeks and older.

What is Safeguard Goat Dewormer?

Safeguard uses fenbendazole as its main ingredient. Fenbendazole is a broad-spectrum parasiticide used to treat hookworms, roundworms, lungworms, flea tapeworms (Taenia pisiformis), and whipworms. Safeguard is a goat wormer with off-label use for dogs.

Safeguard wormer is safe and effective for: 

• Puppies as young as 2 weeks
• Dogs of all ages
• Pregnant or lactating females

Active Ingredient: 10% Fenbenzadole

Safeguard dosage for dogs and directions for use:

Fenbendazole is FDA-approved for use in dogs. Dosing is 1ml (1cc) for every 5 pounds of body weight.

Directions: Dose initially for 3 days in a row for ADULT dogs, then future dosings are just once per month. For newborn pups, dose ONCE every 2 weeks, starting at 2 weeks of age.
