Our chain link collars are puppy-proof, chew-proof, and can be easily customized with your details. They’re designed with comfort and safety in mind, made of durable stainless steel with nickel plating that won’t rust or break.
Classic link chain collars incredibly durable, clean, and keep your pet’s coat protected. While standard fabric collars hold water, collect mud, trap odors, and can cause fur matting and skin irritation, our metal chain collars slide smoothly over the fur and resist chewing and pulling.
Each dog chain collar comes with a customizable nameplate. Select “Yes” when ordering to add the nameplate to your order, then provide up to three lines of text. Each line can be up to 18 characters long, including spaces.
Chain closure options:
Choose the S-hook closure option if you have a growing puppy or a dog with fluctuating weight or coat thickness. The S-hook can clip into any link and allows you to resize it as needed.
Choose the Quick Link closure option for maximum collar security. It features a small, threaded barrel nut that screws shut, so it’s impossible for your dog to shake loose or break it open—great for high-energy working dogs or hounds.

Our link chain collars are not choke collars. Choke collars tighten as your dog pulls against the lead or leash. By using an S-hook or quick link closure, our chain collars are locked into a pre-set size. They don’t squeeze your dog or add throat pressure—they act just like a flat collar without the stink, moisture, or rubbing.
Choosing your collar size:
To choose the right size chain link collar, measure the exact circumference of your dog’s neck.
- Wrap a soft measuring tape (or a piece of string that you later measure against a rigid ruler) around the middle of your dog's neck.
- Keep the tape snug but comfortable.
- Use the two-finger rule: You should easily be able to slide two fingers between the tape and your dog's neck.
For an S-Hook closure: Order the size that matches your dog's neck measurement. Because the S-hook can clip into any individual link, a collar that is slightly longer is fine—you can always clip it tighter for a custom fit.
For a Quick Link closure: Order the size that matches your dog's neck measurement. If your dog falls between whole inches, round up to the next available inch to ensure it isn't too tight.
