EfferSan is a highly effective, multi-purpose disinfectant and sanitizing tablet. EPA registered and hospital grade! Effersan Spray Bottle purchased separately.
Drop the tablet in water, and once it’s dissolved, you’ll have a non-irritating, no-rinse solution that is powerful enough to kill parvo and many other pathogens. EfferSan is NOT bleach - it's 100x times better and safer than bleach.
Please note: Rinsing is required in items that will hold or come into contact with food or drinking water.
At OKIE DOG SUPPLY, we armed our employees with Effersan to take home to use in the face of Covid-19. At our facility, we are using this in all high-touch areas and before we close up each evening. After hours, we spray Effersan on surface areas and cutting tables, and on equipment and phones and keyboards to dry overnight. In our personal kennel, we use Effersan 24 hours after a mama has whelped pups or in kennels of sick dogs that are recovering or dogs recovering from surgery.
COVID-19 is caused by SARS-CoV-2. Effersan kills similar viruses and therefore can be used against SARS-CoV-2 when used in accordance with the directions for use against Norovirus (Feline Calicivirus as surrogate) (ATCC VR-782) on hard, non-porous surfaces.
Effersan has a very light scent - much like the Glade scent Clean Linen - at least that's what it reminds us of.
How to use:
Dissolve 1 tablet to 1 quart of water. No rinsing is required UNLESS the item sprayed is to come into contact with food or potable drinking water, then you will need to rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.
1) Prepare a 1,300 ppm solution by filling a 32-oz (1 QUART) spray bottle with fresh, potable water and adding one EfferSan tablet. Allow tablet to dissolve completely.
2) Clean surface then apply solution with a mop, cloth, sponge, brush, foaming equipment or coarse trigger sprayer.
3) Allow surface to remain wet for 5 minutes. All treated equipment that will contact food, feed, or drinking water must be rinsed with potable water before reuse. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.
4) Prepare a fresh solution daily or when it becomes soiled or diluted.
