Signature Required for Packages protects your package from being left alone on a porch or the side of the mailbox which makes it less vulnerable to Porch Pirates.
If you choose not to purchase signature required for packages, you are subject to a refund from the carrier of ONLY what the individual carrier provides and deems the package is worth - AND ONLY IF THE PACKAGE IS NOT SCANNED AS 'DELIVERED.'
The payment schedule for claims used by each carrier we use is as follows:
- USPS (United States Postal Service): $50 maximum claim allowance
- UPS (United Parcel Service-the guys in brown): $100 maximum claim allowance
- FedEx: $100 maximum claim allowance
PLEASE NOTE: If your item receives a 'delivered' scan and is misdelivered by the carrier OR is stolen, neither Okie Dog or Mule are liable for loss, replacement or refund. We will assist with claim processes or provide a discount on a replacement order.
