This flexible antenna increases range over the standard rubber antenna supplied with the Garmin Astro/Alpha or the Dogtra Pathfinder antenna.
Some customers claim to receive an additional 1-3 miles in range. My personal experience is about another 450 yards (we are in rolling hills). With my Dogtra Pathfinder - the range was closer to 475-500 yards but the biggest difference was that I stayed connected longer.
