Genuine leather and heavy-duty felt help absorb the scent of the game you want to stop your dog from running.
This is primarily used with breaking scents, HOWEVER, we recently used this to train a squirrel dog. We doused the felt with squirrel trailing scent, then dragged it on a short trail, then applied a little more scent, and hung it from a tree just above the pup's head. It worked perfect!!
If you use this to break, then use the breaking scent and attach the pad to the dog's collar. If you use this scent pad to train - DO NOT attach it to the dog's collar.
Works on collars up to 1" wide.
